# Import from Readwise Reader (.CSV)

## Export from Readwise Reader [#export-from-readwise-reader]

To export your saved content from Readwise Reader, follow these steps:
1. Open the [Readwise Reader app](https://readwise.io/dashboard).
2. Click on the [`Export`](https://readwise.io/export) option or use this direct link: https://readwise.io/export
3. Scroll down to the `CSV` section and click `Export`.

## Import to Folio [#import-to-folio]

Once you've downloaded the Readwise Reader CSV file, follow these steps to import your bookmarks into Fol
io:
1. Click the [**`⚙️ Settings`**](https://app.savewithfolio.com/settings) icon in the Folio app's bottom navigation bar.
2. Select the [**`Import`**](https://app.savewithfolio.com/import) option from the Settings page.
3. Choose **`Readwise Reader (.CSV)`**.
4. Folio will open a file explorer where you can upload your **`Readwise Reader CSV`** file.
5. Confirm that you're uploading the correct Instapaper CSV file.
6. Wait for the import process to complete.
7. Check the success message when the import process finishes.
