# Import from Raindrop.io (.CSV)

## Export from Raindrop.io [#export-from-raindropio]

To export your content from Raindrop as a CSV file:
1. Navigate to the [Raindrop app](https://app.raindrop.io/my/0).
2. Click your email address at the top left of the Raindrop sidebar.
3. Select the [`⚙️ Settings`](https://app.raindrop.io/settings/app) option.
4. Click on [`Backups`](https://app.raindrop.io/settings/backups).
5. Select `➕ Create New`.
6. Wait for the app to prepare your backup.
7. Refresh the page to view the new backup.
8. Click `CSV` to download the file.

## Import to Folio [#import-to-folio]

Once you've downloaded the Raindrop CSV file, follow these steps to import your bookmarks into Folio:
1. Click the [**`⚙️ Settings`**](https://app.savewithfolio.com/settings) icon in the Folio app's bottom navigation bar.
2. Select the [**`Import`**](https://app.savewithfolio.com/import) option from the Settings page.
3. Choose **`Raindrop.io (.CSV)`**.
4. Folio will open a file explorer where you can upload your **`Raindrop.io CSV`** file.
5. Confirm that you're uploading the correct Instapaper CSV file.
6. Wait for the import process to complete.
7. Check the success message when the import process finishes.
