# Import from Instapaper (.CSV)

##  Export from Instapaper [#export-from-instapaper]

    You will need to use the <strong>Instapaper web app</strong> to <strong>access the export option</strong>. The iOS and Android apps do not support this feature.

To export all saved articles from Instapaper:

1. Navigate to the [Instapaper app](https://instapaper.com/).
2. Click on your email address in the top-right corner of the Instapaper header.
3. Select [**`Settings`**](https://instapaper.com/user) from the dropdown menu.
4. Scroll down to the **`Export`** section.
5. Click the **`Send .CSV file to your email`** button.
6. Check your inbox or spam folder to download the file.

##  Import to Folio [#import-to-folio]

Once you've received the Instapaper CSV file in your email, follow these steps to import your Instapaper saves to Folio:
1. Click the **`⚙️ Settings`** icon in the Folio app's bottom navigation bar.
2. Select the **`Import`** option from the Settings page.
3. Choose **`Instapaper (.CSV)`**.
4. Folio will open a file explorer where you can upload your **`Instapaper CSV`** file.
5. Confirm that you're uploading the correct Instapaper CSV file.
6. Wait for the import process to complete.
7. Check the success message when the import process finishes.
