# How to Add Your Saves To Archive

> Learn how to keep your Reader clean by adding read items to the archive. This stores all your customizations across all your items, including highlighted and tagged content.

## 🗑️ Add to Archive [#️-add-to-archive]

To archive any item:

- Select an item from any tab.
- Click the `...` (3-dot icon).
- Select the `Archive` option.

## 🔁 Remove from Archive [#-remove-from-archive]

  Removing an item from the archive will restore it to its original tab (All, Favorites, or Highlights).

To restore an item from the archive:
- Navigate to the `Archived` tab.
- Select the item you wish to restore.
- Click the `...` (3-dot icon).
- Choose the `Unarchive` option.
